Terms and Conditions of Ayurveda Centre Lawrence Hill Paradise Hotel, Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka:

  1. Reservation and Payment:
    Once we have received your booking form, a long with your 25% deposit for the cost of cure. We will then reply with your booking confirmation. The balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to arrival. Special requests must be clearly stated on the reservation form and will be confirmed by management.

  2. Cancellation Policy
    Cancellations or no-shows are subject to cancellation fees as follows.
    - Up to 30 days prior to confirmed arrival 20%
    - 29 to 22 days before confirmed arrival 25%
    - 21 to 15 days before confirmed arrival 35%
    - 14 to 8 days before confirmed arrival 50%
    - 7 to 1 day(s) before confirmed arrival 65%
    - Same day arrival or no-show 80%
    To avoid cancellation-fees, we highly recommend to take out a travel cancellation insurance.

  3. Services and Liabilities
    Please find our covenant services under the applicable heading of our website. We explicitly point out that individual treatments can only be prescribed by your Ayurvedic doctors in consideration of your Doshas and your current state of health. Refund-claims for treatments not prescribed by our Ayurvedic doctors will not be accepted. Our services are intended as preventive health care and cannot replace treatment of acute medical conditions by a conventional physician or in hospitals. Please note that we do not treat contagious illnesses. When completing your reservation form you must, confirm that you are not suffering from any contagious illness. We do not perform Ayurvedic treatments during pregnancy. There is no liability- or warranty-claim unless intention or gross negligence is proven. We do not offer refunds for any services that we provide that you do not use. Sri Lanka provides a self-contained tradition of Ayurveda which dates back more than 3,000 years. Its treatments as well as the production of its remedies are not necessarily congruent with those applied in India or Europe. We cannot be held liable for disturbances caused by sounds and odours typically prevalent in our location.

  4. Entry-Formalities Guests are responsible for the compliance with local passport-, immigration-, customs- and vaccination-rules.

  5. Discrepancies arising During the Cure Guests are obligated to notify us immediately in the case of any deficiencies and shortcomings so that we are able to correct these as soon as possible during the guests’ stay.

  6. Place of Jurisdiction Place of business is Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. Place of jurisdiction is Galle, Sri Lanka.
